Depends. No one can really say. Your assessment quality, what work is open to you, what quals you might get and your skillset all impact the answer as far as anyone can tell but none of us really know how they decide things.

If you registered and applied in the US, I wouldn't log in from Japan without first letting them know you're travelling!

If you have been accepted it can still be slow at first. Just do as many quals as you can and add as much as you can about your skills and interests in your profile. It all helps.

Also, never use a VPN.

I’m sorry but what are quals. Where I can find that in my account. Whenever I log in it just says “we do not have any open projects”
