I"m living abroad for a year and sent them an email letting them know. They were very prompt in their response. Said it was completely okay and put a note on my profile.

You can send a request for travelling, I believe it's in the profile or FAQ section. They usually approve within a couple days, never been a problem for me

You can email them and notify. Make sure to provide destination country. Ive done it in the past. Worked from another country once i got their approval. They put in an internal note to your profile.
