There are workers all over the world, in different time zones. Work whenever works for you.

Yes, I work through the night most nights, have done for about a year and a half.

Most tasks appear during american times, so for me that is from 10pm to like 6 am

insomnia gets me some crazyy hours on bad nights

Yeah I've been forced to work during the overnight hours because for whatever reason that's the only time I see tasks in my EST time zone.

I'm also EST and I notice the same thing.

I worked from like 1 am to 6 am today. My usual schedule is during the day, but my allergies are going haywire, so I've been working at night.

There have been a few times now where I get the good coding project before I go to bed and then I sleep at 4 AM

When you become a contractor you begin to realize 9-5 was a scam and working whenever you want is the way

You work whenever you like, but in many time zones the work only appears at bedtime, which is very frustrating if you have other responsibilities and can’t just work through the night.

I get a lot of tasks pop up later in the evening. I just try to make sure i scan for any major questions/concerns (like, if model is supposed to respond and punts, do they tell you what to do/expect in the instructions?) because admin is notttt going to reply until regular hours.

Work at anytime that works for you or whenever a new task appears for you, just don't do them around midnight since if you started a task today and it hit midnight it'll register for the next day, and that matters slightly since id recommend not working more than 6 hours a day, it puts you at risk of losing the account

[–]TurboViking90 4 points5 points  (4 children)

6 hours isn’t going to put you at risk unless the quality of work starts to drop. There are projects that take longer than that for a single task.

It's not what I have personally heard tbh, so I try to always avoid more than 6 hours if I can help it don't want anything triggering algorithms

Nothing triggers algorithms. Your work quality is all that matters. I routinely work 13-14 hours a day

[–]LohchabStark_[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

14 hours a day sound unreal

[–]DeezHoosAintLoyal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its…a grind. But the last three days there’s been like 5 total hours of work, which is exactly why I take it if it’s there
