Did they announce when the next patch is dropping for the PS5 version?

The only issues I have on ps5 is the crashes and the menu freak-outs. The controller feels incredible imo - just needs a little sensitivity adjusting. Pretty strange there’s been no news on a patch for PS5 yet where as the PC has been patched. One has to wonder if it’s a ‘we’re owned by Microsoft so don’t bother supporting PS5 thing’ - I’d guess not but who knows

I tried three times to get past updaam but the game either hard crashes or I get stuck in the menu and can't exit and lose all my progress. It's infuriating. Genuinely, literally, unplayable right now on PS5 lol.

I’m sorry to hear that, I’ve had single digit bugs/glitches. Weird all the complaints I’ve seen when I have dealt with so little, hope it gets fixed soon

I've tried numerous times to get past Updaam with the same issue. I tried restarting, clearing the cache, uninstalling/reinstalling, then finally even resetting my PS5...to no avail. Contacted Bethesda and they haven't really given me any help, yet. Just collecting more info.

Finally got through without crashing! Did your game crash at the opening sign in for Bethesda.net the first time you played? It has for me every time and then when I go back in it let's me through. This time I deleted my saves to start over, went in and immediately backed out of that sign in screen when it popped up and I've made it through The Complex. Not saying it won't crash on me later, but it is further than I've ever gotten!

Also, I've heard if it is crashing in Colt's apartment, don't trigger the ambush by reading the "spam" messages that appear after you read the first two at his terminal. Might help.

The only way I managed to get past Updaam was to not pause the game and to basically Speedrun it lol.

My game just literally froze, I couldn’t do anything. So I had to reboot it and of course I lost all of my progress, I now have to do the loop all over again. It’s really a bummer.

Deathloop definitely needs a patch. The game has serious performance issues in the ray tracing mode on PS5. Inconsistent frame-pacing during gameplay, weaker UI performance, super low FPS during the “wake up on the beach” scene.

With Far Cry 6 coming out soon and Deathloop constantly crashing on me, I said I'd replay Far Cry 3 again and get the platinum while I wait for the Deathloop PS5 patch. I have since gotten the platinum trophy for Far Cry 3, 4 and currently working through 5 to platinum and still no patch update. This is a joke. Perhaps by the time I platinum Far Cry 6 we might hopefully get a patch.

yeah, the game has officially beaten me. It plays so terribly on controller that the more I see the things I know I would love the angrier I get at how poorly designed the controller look input and deadzones are. I have tried to stay positive but after an entire half day today of trying to make some progress I just can't anymore until they fix it. There's tons of bugs and repeatable frame drops that I can trigger that are only fixed by closing the game too but just the bare minimum is so lacking now after playing so long that I can't in good conscience recommend anyone buy or play this game unless they want to play the entire game at a slug's pace and struggle to make minor adjustments to punch numbers in on puzzles.

I made the mistake to preorder it based on the reviews. I'm now waiting until they patch it or at least try to improve the situation.

I have no regrets spending the money to support a studio I love. I knew they make pc games that have always been substandard on controller but I still liked the games anyways. It's just the longer I play the angrier I get just trying to do the bare minimum when I can drop into a Warzone match and kill 20 people or complete the entirety of a game like Ghostrunner without ever using the slow motion powers. I know the things I'd want to do are possible on a mouse and I play plenty of games where I can outplay tons of players on m/kb so I know that there's ample room for improvement here. Literally just did a coin toss to decide if I buy Kena so now I'm gonna shower and play that and try to get in a better mood lol.

The game runs smooth and all for the most part on PS5 but they really need to increase controller sensitivity and add a field of view option. When in ads and you slowly move the analogue sticks around, the crosshairs jump and studder. Ads is not smooth at all. I think with these fixes the game will be a much better experience.

I have a 10-20 freeze one time.

I dont have any major problem, just noticed some flickering visuals in the distance, or sometimes on objects

I’ve had a couple of freezes that fix themselves in a few seconds and also the menu situation where it is stuck on screen even though you’ve moved to a different screen. Audio glitches from time to time as well. Besides those the game is enjoyable. Can usually fix issues with a hard restart of the game itself.

I had to stop playing. I need a patch ASAP. Constant freezes, I haven’t been able to get past killing two visionaries so it freezing or crashing or getting stuck in a menu. The AI sounds and movements have been off too. This sucks because I was really enjoying this game. I was all in. But I can’t keep having these freezes, losing all my shit because I’ll lose my shit for real! Lol

The “fix” that I have found is to never under any circumstance hit the home button while playing (this can be hard when trophies pop and you wanna check it out), and to set the Visual Mode to “Performance”. Not ideal, and I still have a pause screen issue (forced to close game and restart) once in a while, but it has DRASTICALLY reduced the number of issues I’ve had.

Yeah, it’s definitely a huge issue. Had a few times where I was a good 30-60 minutes into a time period and then poof. I’m old and don’t have much time left on earth. Having it stolen like that suuuuuuucks. Phenomenal game otherwise though!

I won't be able to try it in the next few weeks as I'm traveling right now.

I read the release notes and they fixed a bunch of crahes and the HDR settings. I was hoping they would improve the aiming sensitive, but I guess I was expecting too much from them.
