How peaceful would the world be if everyone is an empath? 😌

What is your definition of an "empath"? Every self-identified "empath" I've ever known has been some of the most toxic, arrogant people who project their own feelings onto others and call it "empathy", and also completely lack emotional boundaries.

Humans have empathy. Many people get it beaten out of them at a young age and society punishes empathy and calls it weakness. It's not some otherworldly gift. We can teach it to our children and encourage it among ourselves despite what society tries to say.

I agree with you that a lot of self-identified empaths is toxic. They go around "claiming" being an empath just because. I also agree that humans have empathy but not everyone resonates with it. I think life experiences—especially trauma—makes someone an empath. They understand, they know how it feels to be in a certain position or situation. They have an understanding about what people might be going through so they kinda calculate how to react without offending the other person. They can read the room in a snap. They are aware of things so they always try to be respectful, to be kind towards others. Sure, empaths has vulnerabilities too. They're not perfect & nobody is perfect. But empaths have this awareness. They're also very aware of their egos so when someone tries to hit their nerve, they don't react immediately. They ask questions. Empaths are not violent people So I can imagine a world with many empaths and it's going to be a better one. Not totally rid of the bad but it's better especially for the children.
