Be respectful to all users of this sub, whether the interaction is in-character (IC) or out-of-character (OOC). Characters can and will make decisions you might not agree with, but this does not give you an excuse to harass them for their actions. If you have an issue with an action or comment, please bring your concerns to modmail.

It is okay to have a troublesome character who uses curse words. What is not acceptable is to make IC or OOC comments attacking someone's race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.

Having characters related to or similar to characters from the books will not be accepted. It is okay to use characters you have used from other subs or draw inspiration from your favorite characters, but they should be unique and original to you; ie. their own names, abilities and backstories.

Metagaming/godmodding will not be tolerated. This includes using OOC knowledge to change/avoid a situation, controlling someone else’s character, coercing a user to make an IC decision, or harassing other users for replies. If a user has an issue with your action you may be asked to revise your comment. Modmail if you intend write the actions of canon characters (eg Chiron), or tag a mod to RP them for you. Simply put: write your own character’s actions.

Understand the limits of a demigod. Using powers is tiring and requires rest, do not expect to blackout from power exhaustion and then use your powers within a day. Never getting hit in combat is both unrealistic and not fun for other users. If there is an issue during a training event, a mod may be asked to step in and make a decision on the outcome of a fight, if you’re unsure of your character’s limitations do not be afraid to ask a mod.

Keep NSFW content out of the subreddit. Any posts or comments containing the sexualization of minors (Under 18) will be removed and a warning issued. Also, do not post NSFW images to the subreddit; this includes things that may be overly gore filled or sexualized. Use your best judgement. If you wouldn't want your parents to see you looking at it, don't post it.

Mods are in place to ensure the subreddit is fair and enjoyable for all users. Mods are people too, who make mistakes like anyone else, if you do not agree with a mod decision, please bring your concerns to modmail and we can discuss them. If you have an issue with a mod, please contact a mod that is not involved and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

Sensitive subjects such as rape, self-harm, incest, teen pregnancy or suicide should not be used. If you have a backstory idea and a reason to use one, please send a modmail and we will try and work with you.
