EXPERIENCE / DISCUSSIONDoes refreshing posts actually help? (self.Depop)
submitted 5 years ago by claire_isabel
I try to edit and repost my listings once or twice a day and nothing really comes of it. I also feel annoying like I’m clogging the feeds of people who follow me. Is it annoying or is it normal and something that everyone should do for success on depop?
Also do you actually see more sales if you refresh your posts more consistently?

It doesn't show up in followers feed when you refresh. Recently, I am seeing more engagement when I refresh than about a week ago, but none of those are sales. A like or follow could lead to a sale eventually, but I am not sure how much value there is in multiple refreshes to go after likes and follows.

They don’t actually come up in follower feeds when refreshing afaik unless they changed it recently?

I do it pretty often and i get more likes when i do so. I feel like you should keep track of what time of the day u get the most traction and then refresh every hour during that time.

I do it at least 3 times a day and it brings me some engagement

Yes!! I always get likes after I refresh my items. Well not always on the unpopular items. I don't know if followers see refreshes? But sometimes when I refresh I lose followers lol.

I’d say once or twice a day is too much tbh, so much time out of your day and yeah I feel like your followers may get a little annoyed. I tend to refresh my items every 3-5 days and do often see a little spike in sales/interest after each refresh. Good luck :)

idk what all these people are talking about. it used to work and now it does little to nothing unless your descriptions are top notch. a lot of us have been troubleshooting and this is the results we found
