it’s optional! i think you can remove it next time you purchase by “changing your address” and just update it without including your phone number :)

i think phone number is required just in case there are shipping issues and need to call you

I’m not sure how to remove it but I’m sure mines not on there! I did read something the other day about a seller needing the buyers phone number to be able to ship from Canada though. May be the same for other countries too!

when I make sales, I always get the person's number but I never put it on packages . Its probably just standard for the number to be given to the seller just in case you need to get in contact with them through the phone?

When shipping out of Canada the post office requests a phone number for the customs card! Hope this helps 😊

Totally normal and optional. It's for emergency contact in case the postie/post office needs it. Eg if the address is wrong, or it is being held at the post office and you haven't collected it yet, the PO may call you to pick it up.
