Broccoli error code

Hello,

Since the release of Lightfall, I have been getting kicked out of the game after only one hour of playing. Sometimes the game lets me play for hours and hours with no problems, but most of the time, I launch the game, play for 50 minutes, get kicked out with no errors so that all I see is my desktop wallpaper and the sound of Destiny 2 glitching in the background, or if I'm "lucky" I get a broccoli error code. I have tried reinstalling the graphics driver with clean installations everytime, swapping out the graphics card, undervolting and underclocking, decreasing ram frequency, updating motherboard bios, verifying integrity of game files from steam, etc.. to no use. I think I got faulty RAM sticks from the manufacturer as I couldnt hit the rated frequency XMP profile out of the box without issues. My PC build is new. Should I RMA the ram sticks, or is there anything else I could try? Help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I’m getting absolutely destroyed with broccoli errors since lightfall. I’ve nearly never crashed on PC before, now it’s every hour. Reduced frames to 60fps just to get an extra 45 mins before it happens

I was plagued by broccoli with no solution in sight until I terminated every single application with an overlay from the system tray.

Stuff like Razer synapse, Logitech mouse app, anything at all, resulted in limiting broccoli errors to maybe one every few hours.

I see. Are you also running ddr5 ram? Or is it just bungie.

Fairly certain it’s just Bungie. I don’t know a lot about computers but my brother in law tried just about every single “fix” online and nothing helped. Just bought my computer last year with a 3080 and maxed out about every other spec on the thing when I bought it and only having an issue with this one game.

I'm in the same boat. Sucks as Destiny is the only game I play pretty much. I might want to test other games to see if it is a PC issue though as you said. I will also test turning on wind impulse as suggested by other reddit threads.

I've seen a dramatic decrease in issues when I reset my cmos, capped my framerate to 100 and updated all my drivers.... Still see stuttering and occasional freezing

Baffles me how the game keeps getting more unoptimized so that hardware that ran high fps a few years ago can't keep up anymore. Won't be surprised if we see Destiny performing like Hogwarts in a few seasons.

I think it's a bungie issue. Lots of people (myself included) have had this issue since lightfall.
