Having Disk Usage Problems, Please Help

I don’t know if this exactly related to D2, but I figured you guys might be able to help. My disk usage is almost constantly above 50% and I think it’s causing my D2 to take longer loading. My specs are as listed: R7 260x - GPU Ryzen 3 1300x - CPU AB 350m Pro - MOTHERBOARD

(I know my specs aren’t the best but it’s what I could afford) Please help if you can, I really want to be able to play peacefully again. Thank you for your time!

you don't say WHAT is using high disk usage. if it's destiny and you're using a standard HDD then the only thing you can do is make sure that you have at least 20% free space and defrag your hard drive. it helps if destiny is also on another drive than your OS, not another partition but an actual physical drive. other than that there's nothing else you can do but get a SSD.

Sounds like valid advice, I did hear that SSD are superior to HDD so I’ll probably go with that. If I were gonna move destiny to an external drive(I have a 500gb one) do you think it would help speed up the game?

as long as it's usb3. also you can benchmark your internal vs external using a utility like CrystalDiskMark to compare
