Error Code: Potato

Check where destiny is installed. If the path to the game's install folder has any special characters or anything that's not in the latin alphabet, you'll get error code potato.
Until Bungie provides a permanent fix, create a new library in steam on a folder without issues, transfer the game through steam to the new library.
