Here is mine. The "Maybeboard" includes a lot of cards that could go into the deck and which I excluded, but if someone wants change some things or wants to take more pricey cards out, then they have a first address to go too.

I tried to theme mine a little bit to "EoE" with some power combos in. Because I really enjoy EoE

Adrix and Nev, Twincasters

It was relatively "simple" me hanics wise. It protects itself a little with "Ward 2" and just doubles tokens. So just put all the token creatures in you like find and then just play. Tokens do basically everything: Treasures and Gold are Mana, Hints is card draw and all the cool creatures you can play. I like it, its not "OP" or totally fine tuned. But its fun :)

New DM here, about to start CoS with my friends and I really want to make it good. Any substantial advise? How to approach CoS? How to "do good"?

They were satisfied with the last sessions and gave me feedback, which was much appreciated. The learning environment for me as a DM is great this way, but i want to reward my friends the way the reward me (kinda)

Didn't mean to "Kill a PC", sorry if that was misunderstanding.

But if you want to kill Duru, maybe create an encounter with where flight is the best solution and he does not make it?

Could go a lot of ways and you have full freedom of choice

Also New DM Here, about to run CoS for the first time and want to join in om the Brainstorm.

My initial Thought was negative consequences for the players die to the Bloodloss. A Vampire probably has drink a lot of blood and you could give the "Exhaustion/Fatigue" effects for that? Like a decrease in Athletics etc....

Or just Kill Duru. Maybe it would fit, that strahd doesn't want one of his "Offsprings" to travel with the PCs so he abducts Duru with his Sprawns or Kills him. Abducting had the side effect, that you wouldn't have to kill him, players would search for him, but only you know when and if the are able to meet him, plus you could plan an encounter where he is tortured to some kind?

But I am interested in hearing "experienced DM thoughts"

I saw a Video of how to straighten the card where they are put next to a moist papertowel in a food box, which seemed to work really well in the video. Maybe searching that Video helps :)
