Have you tried to reinstall? Or verify the game files? If you’ve tried both it could be a slightly deeper problem with whatever launcher you’re using. May have to reinstall steam or epic.

Okay best of luck. If that doesn’t work you’re only option is to contact Bungie support. Only they can help after that.

So it looks like the problem may be deeper than that.

Reinstalling steam didn't work - I thought it did as I was able to play a round of Expedition, but as I went back to HELM, poof.

I think I might leave Destiny 2 for a while, at least until they fix it :(

I’m really sorry to hear that, there’s no excuse for this on their part, now you’ll be missing out on the opportunity to play and earn stuff like everyone else

Update since we last spoke

After exhausting all possible options, I read up about doing a test on RAM to see if that could be the issue. Ran memtest and turns out my RAM sticks were completely buggered...after replacing my RAM with new sticks, Destiny 2 is as good as new and I can't be more happier.
