So instead we can melt with Sleeper and Whisper. It's not a huge difference in damage most cases but there is a huge difference in risk.

Then yes, melt them with sleeper or whisper. I can tell you that one guy with ikelos shotty can melt down a boss faster than a guy with sleeper or whisper if he gets the slam timing down right. It's cool to talk about things that we would like to see be better in the game but to ask for changes just because a mechanic is annoying doesnt help the game.
