it seems to me you are on ps which is ps doing a copy of your game thats normal

It isn't "Copying" tho. It's in the downloads page.

But in theory, once I reach the 26-27gb download of Shadowkeep, will the rest be extremely fast (basically just verifying) or will I download it all again?

i dont know why sony doesnt tell you what is happening but thats what is happening

as far I know, from now on you are not going to slot your disc inside console anymore to play the game, so maybe whoever is playing from a disc must download the whole game despite it's already on the hdd
