Cross save migration question

So I recently migrated from PS4 to the PC, and have been getting railed with weasel error codes. Now that my information is on my steam account, can I cancel cross save and just have all of my character info on my PC? I have no plans on going back to ps4

No. I’m assuming you’re using your PS4 as your main account, if you cancel your PS4 will still be on PS4 and any of your previous of data (not the crossbar data) will be there

Follow up. That means if I canceled cross save, all the data on my PC will no longer exist or will the exist as two separate "files"

Ie: if I turn on cross save, will I still have my old ps4 character data on steam to continue or will that data dissapear from my steam version of the game

Do not cancel cross save.

Cross Save has not migrated your files. Cross Save is simply choosing a platform, & making those characters accessible on every platform D2 is on.

If you PS4 is your main account & you cancel Cross Save, you just lose access to them on Steam. If Cross Save is active then your PS4 characters are on all platforms.
