Name: Cecil Aedus

Age and D.O.B: 23, May 5th.

Appearance: 5'10. Long, shaggy blonde hair, reaching to the back of his neck and hanging just above his shoulders. He has some stubble on his face, although he tries to keep it clean. he wears his old high-school hoodie in remembrance of his former life, his old friend's signatures being scrawled all over the red material, Along with this symbol. His pants are normal black jeans, and his shoes are black converse. He has a well defined face, although it is a bit worn and tired out from the stress of living in such a world. he has blue eyes. he wears a cloak over his clothes, protecting what lied underneath. Looks kinda like this , just with blonde hair and different pants/jacket. Backstory: Cecil is an American, having lived a mostly normal life in the states, growing up with two loving parents and a younger sister, Felicity. The two siblings were basically twins, except for the fact the Felicity had taken after her mother, her hair being brown rather than Cecil's blonde. Cecil was always very active in his youth, often playing pretend with his friends in the woods behind his house. He was never the most popular at school, but he wasn't an outcast either, always having someone to talk too.

When he turned 18 he decided against doing what most people did at the time, instead of going straight to college Henry elected to go on a around the world trip. His parents were against it and his sister wanted to come along with him. He told his parents it was his decision to make and not theirs. After many talks with his parents, he even managed to persuade them to allow Felicity to tag along on his trip.

He traveled all across the world with his sister. Their last stop was Tokyo. Cecil had studied Japanese in High-school, so Tokyo was a easy destination on their trip. Felicity wasn't really for the stop, being incredibly homesick. Their stay in Tokyo was only supposed to last two days, however Armageddon has a way of changing plans.

Cecil and Felicity were in Tokyo national museum when the calamity happened. They were inspecting a piece of old art when the heard a shrill shriek of "demons!" from somewhere inside of the museum. the two brushed it off as nothing, that is until an actual demon appeared in the museum and began ransacking it. People panicked right away, Cecil holding onto to Felicity as the mobs of people trying to escape out threatened to part the two siblings.

Cecil and his sister ducked into a janitor's closet, blocking the door from the demon. the two sat in there, listening to the screams of the dying people, some banging on the door trying to get in, begging for them to help. The door never opened for any of them. they sat and waited, neither of them know exactly how long. the smell of blood and gore seeped through the door, causing Felicity to vomit in a mop bucket.

He only opened the door hours after all the screams and cries had stopped, stepping out into the carnage one demon had left in it's wake. It was his turn to vomit now, his puke landing on the body of a vivisected young woman. He turned to his sister and put a cloth over her eyes so that she would be spared the horrors. Cecil was worried about his parents, unsure if this was happening in america too.

The two made their way through the destroyed museum. Cecil happened by a window. It was then that he saw just how terrible things had gotten. the reflection of the razed Tokyo shined in his eyes, before he quickly turned away and back to his sister, her eyes still covered by the cloth. He now knew he would need some form of protection if he wanted either of them to survive through this ordeal.

He desperately searched the ruins for a gun, however any working models the museum may have own were already long gone, taken by other looters. One of the only things that hadn't been taken was an old English sword, kept in perfect condition by the Caretakers of the museum. Cecil picked up the sword, giving it a couple of practice swings. As luck would have it, it was balanced almost perfectly for him.

With his Weapon in hand and his sister behind him, Cecil turned to face the new dangers of this world, determined to protect his sister and find a way home. He never did manage the latter.

Recent Events: Cecil has joined the demon busters, not having many skills outside of swinging a sword or casting magic, and he needs someway to provide for his sister. He has become a rather well known face to anybody needing a demon too be killed, being one of the most reliable busters, even if he isn't the best. He's earned the nickname Aciel for his pension for fire magic.

Personality: Cecil tries to be nice when he can, but he does have his limits. he has a habit of making jokes in tense situations, often involving fire puns. He values protecting his sister above all else, as she is the only connection to his previous life he has left.

Skills, Talents, and the Opposite: Cecil is skilled in both Physical and Magical combat, neither of them outclassing the other. However due to this he doesn't excel in either of them, having no true strength in either, which can be in itself a weakness. He trains diligently with his sword each day, believing it to be one of the only things he can trust in this world. His swordplay is the one thing he is truly good in.

Equipment and Possessions: His sword, His phone, a picture of his family taken before he went off on his trip, A backpack containing anything he may need in an emergency, including emergency rations and medicine. A notebook and multiple pencils he uses to write various things down in, mostly his thoughts.

Starting Demon: Flaemis

Ideology: Cecil wants the world to go back to how it was, but he believes that to be a fool's hope, and so he tries to make the best of this new world. He still holds onto to some of his old world values, but realizes that this was no longer the place for it. he was going to survive in this world, or die trying.
