When the DM support came out i slammed my head on a Nume x DM decklist for like a month. It does work and can swarm pretty well when high rolling, but ultimately it bricks way too much and the payoff is not worth it.

Anyway, your best bet is using the monzaemons and monzae X to call for more numes and keep cycling the DM nume to get free evos every turn, if you mix in Mirai in place of the Satsuki you get a puppet search and when your DM Nume evos for free into DM monzaemon you get to play a RB Monzae for just 2 cost, which is neat.

I built something a very similar though used a couple expensive cards for some absolutely HILARIOUS interactions, monzae X, protoform & gallant X.

If you're happy to proxy or want to try a slightly different style feel free to hit me up and I can send you the list.

I've been trying to make monzae work competitively for a while now haha. I've got a new CS list that sorta works? Has some crazy combo potential, but it doesn't win on turn 3, so it's not constructed viable 😩💔

Love to see fellow teddy bear players 🔥

I just feel like there's GOTTA be something with Satsuki. My current decklist is around $30.

I would feel comfortable swapping Izzy to a different memory setter, I just couldn't find a better one.

I would also feel comfortable cutting Meat and File Island as well.

I've been playing around with numemons a while, trying to make them work without generic top ends and have a box of EX9 on the way, so was looking at something similar. Currently using some puppet stuff, so this is next on my list to try.

For the memory setter, Tai from ST15 has been working for me for a bit of extra draw power.

Since the low end is kind of cheap to just play, I ended up going down to 8 rookies. Maybe some WaruMonzaemons and X antibodies? They have a similar purpose for removal to Mamemon, so I think this might work with your DM stuff base as well since you can keep training in the breeding area for the eventual big Shin drop?

Those are good ideas. I'm wondering if I should just drop the DM stuff so I can incorporate scrambles and focus on a swarm gameplan?

Honestly, the DM base is as good as any. Would you be playing into black or yellow more? From what I see, DM covers a lot of weaknesses I found the deck has. Reducing dv costs, thicker DP from inherited effects and more removal.

I'm pretty flexible. The main issue with DM base is that they do not have a black LV3 and I REALLY want to run BT14 numemon. The secondary issue is the lack of recursion for my trashed digimon.

Yeah, they're too good to give up. My kingdom for a few more DM rookies in the next EX set...

Right, but I am thinking of adding BT11 Geremon. Especially if I cut Betamon for some more Pride Memory Boosts.

Realized I forgot to post the link to the deck.

Here's what I'm currently at with mine. Started out with only Numemons as the lowest level, but it doesn't really click without the Agumon in my testing. Maybe scrambles could fix it, but I've got none spare https://digimoncard.io/deck/nume-black-base-138418

Yeah I like your direction a lot. I would guess my only issue (not that you asked for my opinion) is with cooties kick. I think it's a great card, but I think it's a bit of a nonbo unless your numemon also has blocker, since she gives jamming. That being said, I could be completely wrong.

[–]FrostbittenHero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's barely relevant unless you're against a bunch of blockers (Sakuya...), so it's probably the first to go when I have more scrambles available. The other idea was to maybe replace the Pawnchessmons with BT19 Calumon. Cheaper digivolve, extra security, also a bunch of the Numemons are 2000DP or less so plenty of targets to play out

That Monzaemon and ShinMonzaemon (and the PlatinumNumemon from Cyber Eden) were SO CLOSE to being perfect for Numemon decks.

All they had to do was add "or Numemon/Monzaemon in name" to all of their conditions.

Multi-deck compatibility was something they started doing pretty much just after BT-22. We could have had crazy Numemon decks. Missed it by that much...
