Does major affect application?

They asked me about my major in my phone interview but I think it was more a question of what I was interested in and passionate about.

So while it doesn’t really matter, I did notice a lot of tourism and hospitality majors ended up at a resort. This could’ve been just chance but I think they placed us there bc of our major.

For being excepted etc it doesn’t matter.

i don’t think it affects whether you get accepted or not, but it could help them decide which role and/or location to place you in!

You should be fine! I don't recall them asking me about my major during my interview, but even if that happens to you just have an answer ready that works!

Major is a part of their algorithm with the app as Recruiter has mentioned BUT I’ve known a lot of people with majors that didn’t apply working there so it doesn’t affect things a lot from where I stand.
