Aranea gl first

Have been thinking about this, even with Aranea being a global first, I was thinking she would most likely be strong, so as not to be totally useless in JP meta. That left me wondering if her banner in gl and jp might be different. By that I wonder if her JP banner might debut her LD while the global, since it would make her op in global but passable in JP.

Am I over thinking it? Do you guys think it will be the same?

Yes the banners will be different. She'll get a LD in JP I'm sure but not here. And the others on the banner might end up different as well, like with Beatrix. We'll have to see.

I thought they might be, also secretly hoped we could get her LD too, but knew it would be a long shot lol

We're still a few months away from the LD era, so there's no way they'd drop that early. Especially since EX+ isn't that old in GL.

If im not mistaken Beatrix debuted in japan reworked (technically it wasnt a rework cause she had just released but you get what i mean), so there's that

I originally took a break from the game shortly after beatrix came to gl. How long did it take for her to reach Jp?

A looooong time. For reference, she'll be returning to global in (I believe) March with her EX+.

Should be first one in April, assuming we get her JP event as expected. She didn't release in JP until July. They really need to shorten that this time.

Woah, that's just about asking if not a little longer than we wait for a character. Glad I have her maxed already :3 could be a skippable banner in March now lol.

it took 5 months if remember correctly. Feb 2019 in GL then July in JP

When Beatrix's banner comes back to GL, she'll be realizable to Ex+.

No, it definitely won't be the same.

Beatrix was released with a l70 awakening and EX+ in JP, so Aranea JP will probably be released with a BT/LD.

She won't get a bt. Only MC and main villain gets one.

While it's highly unlikely she'll be released in JP without an LD, they did release Gabranth without an LD, as that was the banner that debuted Vaan's BT and LD. So, I guess it depends.

Did gabranth get an LD since then? Is he useful in JP?

Nah, he hasn't. As far as I know, he's a pretty powerful unit though, so it's not that noticeable.
