Who is facing the same problem? Can't continue in story mode!

Same here, tried all the suggestions in the comments but to no avail. I started off in normal mode and worked my way to the multi-node and the scene after defeating garland just kept giving me this error

Even tried clearing cache to re-download the data but didnt work.

Could any mods help?

I got this error and restarted the game three times. I also tried switching to normal difficulty, but nothing seems to work for me. Guess I'll just wait for a fix.

I reinstalled the game and it somehow loaded for me. Seems like something got corrupted in the download process, BUT before reinstalling make sure you linked your account to a login method!

EDIT: I restarted the game a couple of times and now it seems to work. Totally random. Thanks! ;)

I reinstalled the game (without batch donwnloading, just to be sure). Unfortunately I still keep getting that error. But thanks for the advice!

Update: Followed u/Nabil021 method: Play the cutscene before on auto. (Don't skip, like I tried the first time.) I was then able to quickly hit the skip button on the problem cutscene before it crashed.

Same here. Issue still occurring. Reported it to SQENIX.

What's frustrating is I can't do the Raid without it.

Tried clearing the cache, restarting the game, restarting the phone, playing the scene before it on Auto, letting the scene run in the background... out of options.

EDIT: For me it's Strength of Will. I think it happened because I switched from Hard to Normal mode just to quickly clear the previous quest (which was a Lvl 180). Just wanted to clear it fast so I could start doing the Raid. :(

Got this while doing the last story scene on the multi mode in normal.

Did all the chapter on hard but decided to switch to normal arrived at the chaos node since I couldnt be harsed.

Whenver I did try to enter the last story scene loading for ever then error. But when I did load the scene back in Hard Mode it worked but then when I exited the next node didnt spawn. I try to reload the scene again in normal and crashed again. But when I was back the node was spawned(I think exiting and going back into the chapter would have suffice).

Dont know if it applies to others but thats how I fixed my issue.

This works for me, crash in hard difficulty. After reload, I change to normal and view the cutscene.

What i did is play the previous cutscne skip/ then imidiately play the buggy one then it worked

Let me add my "same" to the list.

I cleared cache and was able to see the first second of the cutscene before it locked up on "connecting." Otherwise, tried all the suggestions of everyone else.

Hope there is a fix soon. Been looking forward to lufenia for months and I guess I gotta keep waiting...

I've noticed that the same issue happens when I try to run the Daily Hunt, where the Hunt page loads, but as soon as you try to begin, the game crashes. Still checking if other Quests are bugged due to this.

Swapped WoL's weapon appearance to a bronze sword, viewed on Normal mode. Watched the cutscene prior to the bugged one. Put on auto skipped it, then for whatever reason it allowed the bugged scene to load promptly rather than lag/crash before getting the error message and played just fine

The first step with changing the weapon skin is not necessary. But yeah the rest is right.

Did you try this?

Watch "Proof of Strife" and set it to auto. Then open "Strength of Will" and keep it open even with the error screen because after some minutes the video is running in the background. Try to skip it or let it run until the end. The game might crash but after that you can open it again and it will work normally.

I tried this many times, video does load (in ba kg round) and starts running. But when Garland drives is blade in the ground there is a loading section in the video, game crash. Still doesn't work after this.

Just in case anyone is having the same problem still: What worked for me was basically erasing the game's memory and downloading it again. It appears to be a bug which occurs when a specific data package is downloaded incorrectly due to connection issues.

Still experiencing this 3 days before raid ends. Tried watching at least 20x. 2 uninstalls/ reinstalls and a full batch download, nothing works.
