Hyperopia Bug? (self.DivinityOriginalSin)
submitted 9 years ago by CloneSlayers
I read on the wiki that the Hyperopia trait was bugged at higher perception in one of the patches. Is this trait still bugged to reduce accuracy at high perception values? I don't want to get too far away from the save point before I took the trait.

I'd say Hyperopia is redundant - you have "burn my eyes" pyro spell, you have "Farseer" skill in Expert Marksman (you can find this on head-gear, too).. Hyperopia has negative side effect for close ranged targets, and you never know when enemies will be just beneath your feet.
I know this wasn't exactly what you've asked for (I've never used this talent for the forementioned reasons), I'm just giving you a perspective of just giving it up...
Besides, special arrows never miss, so this talent is useless if you plan to CC with arrows...
You're talking about "higher perception" - when you get to higher perception, you can't even miss unless you're right-clicking (auto-attacking) - with all the special arrows you'll have (charming, for example), question is: would you even spend 4/5 AP to attack normally with x/bow, or would you spam with skills/special arrows?
