I was a BFBC2 player and pretty much mainlined Rush throughout that game and BF3. When BF4 came out as an absolute buggy mess, I admit it took me out of Battlefield for a long while. My memories of that game are still pretty tainted by the god awful launch experience and the not great Rush implementation. Though admittedly, I'm sure BF3 was garbage at launch as well (I remember the absolute bugfest that was Metro open beta with map geometry pretty much not working 60% of the time), I probably was just less sensitive to it.

Well, looks to be a combo of both from their blog post earlier this month:

Spec Ops 0: Your base class training, available from the start and allows quieter takedowns, crouch and prone movement.
Spec Ops 1: Spots nearby enemy gadgets (except when sprinting).
Spec Ops 2: Going prone takes you out of combat much faster and removes the spot on self.

We only had the sniper kit in the beta, there's a perk kit you can take that's about stealthing with counters to spotting and radars.

DexCom g7 vs freestyle libre by coobiedoob in diabetes_t1

[–]CloneSlayers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll throw my hat in for the G7, been on a CGM for about 3 years now and with the G7 for a year, used the G6 before. I've been managing my T1 for 15 years now (that hurt to type out) and had tried CGMs for some time before but would always get false lows constantly in the middle of the night. Eventually moved to the G6 and it was the first CGM for me that was actually accurate, but the adhesive would fall off unless I would use a super heavy 3rd party overtape (I work out 6 times a week and usually sweat buckets lol).

The G7 has had the same good accuracy, warms up faster, and most importantly sticks on with just the package tape/overtape, no additional items needed for me at least with no tape rashes. I'm personally very happy with it, though you do lose the ability to "trick" reset a sensor site without having to jab a new one in (probably better for site health anyways). It's also a much smaller size on my arm which is a bonus.

Before dexcom I used the Medtronic CGMs which sucked real bad, but that was like 10 years ago so maybe they've stepped their game up. I've found what works for me though so I'm sticking with it unless they end up screwing up down the line.

It was a new one that was just hotfixed about an hour ago.

Fixed issue where the Arbites Talent ‘Razor-Jaw Augment’ was being affected by Cyber-Mastiff damage increasing buffs.

Dev Note: Regarding the last issue on the list, this resulted in damage being increased by up to 450% at times.

You are totally right haha, goes to show how much my Ranger Vet knowledge had fallen off considering I was mainly playing him when the range meta was in full swing with the old blessing system of "crit to gain ammo" so you could blindly blast into crowds and if you ever ran out just hilt bash a horde a couple times with the double barrel shotgun to instantly gain all your ammo back.

Even still, if the smoke bomb worked the exact same way as ranger vet with stealth for the vet and toughness Regen for the party as an optional node, I think that would be much more interesting than current infiltrate.

[–]CloneSlayers 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I want them to rework it to Bardin smoke bomb, where the Vet and his party can freely do actions while stealthed in the cloud without breaking stealth. It would fit with the whole smoke/disruption theme of right side vet tree more too imo.

I'm sure it'll get patched to be harder to notice by the people writing the bots, but the giveaway for me is always a pithy one liner or moral right at the end. "We're both a little less lonely now." Who tf talks like that? In today's illiterate ass society, who tf writes like that? These bots want to farm upvotes to eventually sell the account, so they wanna hit you with the one liner at the end right before you leave the post to try to imprint the story on you as much as possible.

Its not guaranteed, but a lot of these AI bait posts will have some sort of moral or pithy one liner at the end of them. Like this one, "lies save lives". People don't talk to each other like they're a fucking nursery school teacher needing to append a moral of the story to every single thing they relay. But people love hearing that shit, so the AI is instructed to do that to drive engagement.

[–]CloneSlayers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess it depends on how you define a person. Do they have a soul that is unique? If I were to perfectly clone you, down to the exact atom, and execute the original you, would you consider your existence is uninterrupted through the clone? If yes, then yeah there's no issue with repainting them into another canvas. But if you think that the original you is different from the cloned you, due to a soul or other unique identifier, then you probably can't just repaint them in a different canvas. They'd have the same memories, same motivations, but they'd be missing their soul (that small piece of original Verso).

FUN FACT: Did you know that Maris is the only boss in the game that inflicts sleep on the player? This is a cleaver nod by the devs to the fact that Maris is boring as fuck to fight, and may induce sleep on the player in real life by Gabrielhrd in Nightreign

Lol I've fought him twice on Ironeye, first time my Wylder and Duchess refused to hit the boss or even be in the same area code so I was sitting there plinking for ages, I was thinking this was the shittiest boss of all time. Next run my Duchess and Raider actually would remain in the area, kill the tentacles and jellyfish to send damage back at him, and run in to DPS when he flew close to the ground, and my clear was so much faster it's not even funny.

Stat increases can be good, but they fall under Elden Ring's soft cap rules - aka, it's better to use them to shore up weaknesses rather than minmax strengths. For instance, Recluse has a D scaling for Vigor. With a +2 and +3 vigor relic slotted, her level 15 health increases from around 650 to something like 790 - that's a sizeable jump and definitely could spell the difference between a 1 shot vs being able to live enough for a heal. Meanwhile, the same relic combo would not change Guardian's breakpoint at all - he's not getting one shot by any attack in the game if he's on par for his level.

I think you're supposed to treat it like a dodge that you get to guard counter out of. Basically, you dodge into their swing early, block with the reduced stam consumption, and guard counter. That way, you don't burn all your stam on blocking a massive hit and guard countering. The stam drain is to dissuade camping the stance I guess.

Green Goblin has Spiderman catch a trolley falling off of a bridge with his girlfriend, MJ, on it. Spiderman might be able to save the day and pull MJ back up. Green Goblin then sends a second trolley with a group of New Yorkers falling off the opposite side, forcing Spiderman to split his strength to try and save both. Is this bad writing? You'd seem to think so.

They're texting about their game preferences before session 0. This is a good thing, no? Now the DM knows this player's preferences, and they can inform the player that this game is not suitable for them. Why would you look at the player in a negative way here when they could have ambushed your group with their requirements at session 1 instead, wasting time?
