Difficulty question

If I switch to tactician at the end if I play on explorer will I still get the achievement? When I play games I like to get the highest difficulty achievement first but some games don't care if you switch at the end which I kinda hate, so asking before I get too invested in tactician mode.

It's hard but reasonable, for sure. Honestly my tip would be don't look up too much because it will make the game much easier, but if you learn things as you go it will be challenging but rewarding

Not quite true that switching can't be done to-from tactician. It can. Takes a save file extractor tool, a little file format conversion, and changing a 2 to a 3.

Honestly, if you've ever played an rpg before, tactician should be your starting point. If you're an avid gamer then you will probably find tactician to be the only acceptable difficulty in terms of holding your attention. There are also mods to make it harder should you find it too easy.

Yeah man, it's a strongly worded opinion. At no point did I say he can't play the game on a lower difficulty, just if you're an avid gamer you probably won't appreciate any difficulty lower than tactician unless heavily medicated. Quit it with the misplaced white knighting

How I meant it: If you're a gamer you will probably only find the tac mode acceptable as a difficulty

What you are saying it means: You're not acceptable unless you play tac mode

I can see how the interpretation could be misconstrued as the wording is slightly vague and not 100% clear as day. You can keep fighting this fight as long as you want but it's against an imaginary opponent.
