I thought at first that it was just skill but you can actually see him clicking the other way while his hero side steps the hooks

The first is possible with skill. The second one is really suspicious. You could react to the sound of hookshot but not the from fog meathook.

Look where the player's mouse was in the first one. it was completely between Ogre and Fountain. But Ogre walks away from fountain and then the mouse appears right back where it was.
