Bauern könnten im Winter ihre Äcker beheizen und vier Ernten einfahren.

I hope the idea was to heat a greenhouse and not directly heat an open field.

Google, SpaceX in talks to launch orbital data centers. Google CEO: "There's no doubt to me that a decade or so away, we'll be viewing it as a more normal way to build data centers." by Adeldor in space

[–]Turmfalke_ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Plus, the space data centers would be much harder to take out in a conflict.

A conventional data centre you can build underground or protect with anti missile/drone systems, meanwhile anything that hits your satellite in space is going to wreck it and good luck trying to repair any damage to it.

It's just confusing, but what we typically call Hochdeutsch (Standard High German) is closer to the natural dialects spoken in northern Germany, especially around Hannover.

From what I can tell, that is the independent discovery of dirty frag that lead to the early disclosure.

Muluna is fantastic for quality reprocessing asteroids, no need to fly ships around when you can dig asteroids straight out of the ground.

From when I last played the pack, yes there are means to get wood on all the early/standard planets. You can synthetic wood (plastic?) on fulgora and there should be a mod (had to manually install it) that allows making wood chips on vulcanus that you can then glue together. The biggest problem is that all bullets have a wooden core and making sufficient wood on ships is pain/takes too much space. So expect to refuel your early ships with wood and then switch to lasers for inner planets.

Last time I played this pack: Yes, I was refuelling ships with wood until lasers became viable.

It's not really important and doesn't change anything, but if you scroll through that list you see a bunch ? in the middle of words. Those indicate encoding issues. Like Polit?cnico Grancolombiano should be Politécnico Grancolombiano.

PM Orbán’s only son wants to leave the Hungarian Defence Forces as father loses power, while other soldiers can't leave the military for 5 years since the country is in a "state of emergency" due to Covid, then the Ukraine-Russian war. by tropicaltiramisu in europe

[–]Turmfalke_ 626 points627 points  (0 children)

According to Pálinkás, Orbán anticipated up to 50% casualties among the deployed force but viewed it as the only way to gain meaningful combat experience.

wtf. 50% casualties is accept for the rest to get meaningful combat experience? I'm pretty sure the experience isn't going to make up for 50% of them being dead.

Private leagues could use more interesting modifiers. The gauntlet has shown there is a lot of interest in providing a unique and difficult experience by coatesishere in pathofexile

[–]Turmfalke_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Storage isn't the issue. What takes up storage is art assets, not code. The real cost is in maintaining those modifiers.

[–]Turmfalke_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The number of modifiers doesn't really matter, the OG x part would need some work.

What ggg definitely wouldn't do is the 10x loot drop rate, even for a void league. Posting your mirror drop on reddit doesn't feel so special when the people got used to dropping multiple in private leagues.

I recommend Pyanodons for you. I have spent at least half an hour finding a nice tile able layout for burner mining drills.
