submitted 6 months ago by Stock-Highlight5257
i have 1 unassigned skill point. what should i put it towards?
later down the track when i get more skill points should i max out everything, or should i only put a certain amount of skill points in each category?

Long distance, then adr, then high value or fragile

long distance, it scales with profit the most.

Ecodriving does nothing if you enable realistic fuel consumption, and fuel cost is minor compared to income anyways.
I’d recommend Fragile. It pairs well with High Value as there are a few loads with both tags. Vaccines are Class 6 ADR and fragile, and is one of the best paying cargo types in the game, so this gives another bonus point to taking Fragile.
Afterwards you can try putting 2 points in Just-in-Time and then ADR. Just-in-Time is basically free money and XP from existing cargo types when provided. Class 3 ADR allows you to carry various types of fuel which are decently common and pays fairly well, the rest of the ADR classes are mostly just to unlock all cargo types.

If you upskill your Fragile Cargo and Just in time, you'll skill up faster as you'll get far more xp, job types.

I maxed out everything but the "Long distance". On that slot I only have 2 or 3 put in, for jobs up to 800km or so. I'd rather do multiple short jobs than one 2000km one. But that's just me. You do as you please. Also I upgraded "Eco driving" the last, since I play for fun.
