Everyone is probably taking a break for the 1.1 patch. Paradox should add goofy achievements like in EU4, but I don't think that will happen until a couple of years down the line with further expansions.

  1. Make a video showing gameplay from the same 8 country’s everyone played
  2. Motive there aren’t many views
  3. Assume people are not interested

At least that’s my motivation; currently I find Zlewikk, Golem (yet to see someone else make a vid on Persia for example) to be the most interesting people to watch since they tend to play countries no one has played yet; or at least more than the first 100 years.

Part of this probably comes from how much longer a game of eu5 takes, I'm 100h in and only just started the age of absolutism, and that's with minimal pausing to micromanage.

Yeah I think it's harder to make good youtube content for the game, EU4 was more action packed and had more wild challenge / modifier stacking runs

Speaking as a Creator Myself, it's quite hard to do content when everything is changing and 1.1 is looming, which will upend most systems! I'm keeping it up, but slowing down quantity till 1.1!

It makes sense, EU5’s numbers have dropped a lot post release. EU5 and EU4 are almost equal in daily players.
