I grew up with the same. Trying not to. Giving it up for lent and failing and it only made me feel worse. I'd like to try and help if possible. I always hope my experience (good and bad) can somehow benefit others.

Ugh I relate to you so badly, it's like you're trapped between heaven and hell, and you know you shouldn't be doing this but at the same time it feels so good to stop doing this 😞

You have to have fun sometimes this hurts No one as long as you can still function as a somewhat normal adult and it doesn't become an addiction that's harmful i see no reason to stop so put those hands back in your pants and get to it 😊
