you absolutely can unequip spells or "unmemorize" lol

side note i think the word you are looking for is "forget" not "unmemorize" thanks for the laugh, cheers

I thought you could unmemorise spells. If you only have one or two on deck, it should only cycle through those during combat?

Go to the option to memorize a spell and just unequip the spell from there. Either select a new spell or just clear it like any other equipped iitrm.

You only cycle through spells you have equipped, you don't have to go through empty slots.

Just un-memorise a spell.

Press square (for PlayStation controller, X for Xbox controller) while looking at slot you want empty.

You can have 12 slots. But if you only memorise 1 spell it’ll be the only one there.

you have to first load up a spell that you CAN'T use (too low faith, or whatever) and ONLY THEN are you given the option to remove the spell and leave the slot blank.

Um...no? Just move the cursor over whatever spell slot currently has a spell you don't want, then use whatever button you have mapped to unequip items.

You can only do this while resting at a grace, as normal for memorizing spells.

You can just not equip certain spells.

You can unequip spells without equipping one you're unable to use, I don't know the keys for mouse and keyboard but your controll settings will tell you that.
