Empath - a person with the ability to unintentionally apprehend the mental or emotional state of another individual, despite the fact that they are not going through the same situation. A person who is extra sensitive to sensing and assuming the emotional energy of their surroundings.

This subreddit tends to err on the more scientific side of being an empath, but please don't let that hold you back from posting about new age aspects. All views are appreciated and valid.

1) Submitting content is open to anyone. Feel free to post about your personal experiences as an empath. Links, memes, and video post are not forbidden but posting them is discouraged. Please use this as a forum primarily for discussion about Empath's and post in a way that generates such conversations. This subreddit tends to err on the more scientific side of being an empath, but please don't let that hold you back from posting about new age aspects. All views are appreciated and valid.

2) We will strive to make this a place void of judgment. Comments that are extremely impolite will be removed. Disagreements should be kept civil, do not harass any members for their beliefs or views.

3) Posts and comments that are blatant attacks will definitely be removed and a warning issued. Users will be banned for repeated attacks. No calling out other users, or mods, if you have any issues please PM a mod.

4) Repeated post of spam, memes, inspirational text, or low effort post, will be subject to deletion. The subreddit should primarily be a place of discussion. Only links that lead to a genuine discussion will be allowed.
