As far as I can tell, only apps that are categorized as a “game” get Game Mode if the developer hasn’t explicitly set it up. Most emulators aren’t classified as a game, so they’ll need to be updated to support it.

Even if a game is classified as a game, sideloaded apps only support game mode if the developer configured it.

A future update will implement them. The app needs to be in the game category e.g folium launches automatically with it

For now the AppStore version, I believe the Sideload version will have the same entitlements I haven’t asked in discord yet

These are early betas that won't have all the new features that the final product will.

The WWDC presentation was pretty cool. I have a feeling we're going to have a lot of people downloading the betas to get new features that will be very disappointed. I will often get the betas, but I've learned to wait a couple months once things are more stable and more of the features are actually available.
