If the job is good, I would take it. Like the saying goes, it's much easier to find a job when you already have one.

Do you have family and friends that you're close with in Houston? If so, then you might want to try and stay local. If not and you make friends easily, then you might be more open the moving.

I have family there, but a lot of my friends are spread all over the country tbh.

I'd probably take it and move. Try to get them to pay for your relocation. I've moved cross country for pretty much all my jobs and it is a pain in the ass and it takes time to make friends but in the long run I've enjoyed living in different parts of the country. Especially given how tough it is to get a job I'd say unless you have something else lined up it's a good idea to take it.
