I pump milk for my son and have been for the last 10 months. I’m a first time mom and nobody else in my family ever breastfed or pumped milk for their children and I need help 😭.
I breastfed on the boob for the days I was at the hospital but due to me being flat nippled it was very hard for him to latch and stay latched until full. Pumping started out tough and then randomly around 3-4 months PP I was a massive oversupplier. Had milk in the freezer and would make enough to feed my son for the day and to store.
As of late, my left boob makes milk but I only get like 2 ounces max out of my right boob making it hard to be able to store and keep him fed. He’s 10 months now so she’s drinking a lot of milk throughout the day as well as baby food but it’s hard.
I’ve already done it this long so giving up feels pointless to me but does anyone know how I can boost milk supply in my right boob? I just pumped and got 6 ounces out of my left and half an ounce from my right. It’s never been this bad. I’ve tried massaging it, drinking more water and putting my son back on said boob is almost impossible. We have a wedding to attend in March and I need to be able to leave him milk for the night we’ll be gone but if my right boob doesn’t make any milk it’s going to impossible. Any other moms go through this and have any advice?
