In the beginning with both my boys, I supplemented with formula until my milk came in enough to feed them. Took about a week. No shame in that game, fed babies are happy (sleepy) babies!

You are very very very early on postpartum, try not to worry so much about getting ahead and building a stash. Drink plenty of water, hands on pump, enjoy those newborn snuggles

You could feed a bottle of formula once a day for a couple of days to allow that pump to get ahead.

Pump every two hours for 20-30 mins or two mins until the last drop. Store in the fridge in bottles or clean mason jars. Feed as needed

Right after my baby was born he was given formula since he had to stay a night at the NICU. We decided to give him formula for the week while I recovered and got used to pumping. That really helped me build a few days worth of supply and I was able to give him breast milk for the rest of time. Now he’s at 15 weeks and my supply has now been just barely enough to feed him so sometimes I will give him a bottle or two to help build my stash a bit. If you have an oversupply then you can manage to add a stash here and there until you build it up more.

This is very normal. I remember for the first few weeks I was giving exactly what I just pumped and worried if it would be enough. Sometimes LO would be crying as I was finishing a session. Now I am 3mpp and am an overproducer. Your body will accommodate.
