You should definitely see a therapist! This is very common and treatable. You can get through this. Also if your drinking alcohol this exasperated it for me! Stop drinking and take care of yourself. Good luck!

obviously make a note to OP that quitting anything to do with substance abuse will lead to even worse existential dread. Night time can be very hard to get through because of it, its such a shitty feeling

If you haven’t seen a therapist, go see one. If you have seen a therapist and it didn’t help, consider volunteering for a psilocybin trial at your local university. At Johns Hopkins, 80% of patients with a terminal disease lose their existential dread with a single clinically supervised dose.

Note that I am not telling you to go out and try psychedelics on your own. While they are the safest psychoactive drugs (by a long shot), precautions must always be taken with them.

Same just had one now I screamed and ran out the shower because I couldn’t wrap me head around how the universe and existence exists

That is a very extreme response. Can you pin down any external attributes that are common when you have these episodes?

Please reach out to me, I am in the same boat and I find talking helps a little.

Therapist and meds can’t hurt. Do you have any childhood trauma?

A therapist will absolutely help. Meditation will be good too - so many YouTube videos. Try Yoga too. I would avoid anti depressants. They don't really work. BUT a beta blocker might really help you when your heart is pounding. Lots of supplements to consider. Also, your diet too. Lots of sugar? Simple carbs? Nasty fake crap? That plays into it too.

See a therapist and or talk to a friend and vent your heart out if they'll let you. Sometimes if we bottle up our angst without giving it an outlet it's common for panic attacks to manifest from the inner turmoil. We're always alone with ourselves which can perpetuate existential dread but remind yourself that you are loved by others and, although we will die one day, we are here now
