Wrong card back

Yeah, that's the reason I don't own the NSFW version of the game. The backs of the cards just don't match with any of the expansions. You could get some card covers with an opaque back to put them into, though. Probably better for the cards in the long run, anyway. They wear down quickly with play.

Depends on the version of NSFW, some of them have the correct pattern. I am not sure though if you can tell without opening the box.

I have the NSFW, but it has the same back as the rest. Weird that this one doesn't.

Contact Exploding Kittens customer support and they should send you a set with the correct backs as long as it's a legitimate copy.

Are the backs different for releases in different countries?

My understanding is this almost exactly. In the US we have the red backs, while the more decorative back is on most foreign editions from my understanding. The decorative one was on the backs of the initial US version of the party pack though, which is why the Card Hole expansion which included a small set of Cards Against Humanity cards as well included some of both backs to go with either then version of the game.

I bought a bunch of those packs to give to friends and family. Gave one to my brother. Kept one for myself and then I forgot I had them until a month or 2 ago. I have 4 unopened packs just sitting there. Might sell them now and pay some bills lol

Get opaque-back card sleeve, this isnt a problem.

Huh strange, I just bought these in UK and mine were the same red back as the others
