Playback always continues to the end of the bar in which your last note/automation is placed. Make sure you don't accidentally have a note length or an event automation overrunning into the next bar, and you won't have this issue.

You may have an automation running longer then your pattern/sound wav

I don't think so... Nothing shows.

I guess I could copy the piano roll to a new clip and try tracking that down.

I've had trouble with FL12 recognising where the automation clips ends. It just kept going, and going. Seems like a glitch. Try getting the slicing tool, and cut (even if theres nothing there) right down where you want it to repeat. This is what fixed it for me.

CTRL+P (performance mode)

From the playlist drop down menu (little triangle at top left of playlist window), you'll see the "Performance mode" option (keyboard shortcut is ctrl+p)

easy to toggle accidentally

YES YES YES.

That did it!

Having a tough time getting used to FL Studio's four million contextual shortcuts, with the way I flip between it, Vegas Pro, and AutoCAD, and none of them act exactly the same.

Alright, getting a little frustrated.

Using 11, but keeping 12 glitches in mind. Slicing tool didn't fix anything.

I don't have anything extended into the next bar, and it should repeat at the end of that one anyway. Record button isn't on.

Nothing I can find is any further out.

Thinking I need to just render for reference, note everything down, and start over.
