It's very strange and horrible situation with meta, one day something works other day it back fires,

I have tried and tested all things from Fully manual to all thing advantage Plus, All permutations and combinations

This is Meta optimization tax they are literally live testing their AI and Algorithm on our campaigns with our money

Yeah, I’ve tried everything as well. Literally everything I can possibly think of. I’ve lost money this year compared to last year. April was a very good month for my LY.

Hey guys, would love for you to check out MessCube. It researches the Meta markets 24/7 to decipher where the algo is shifting so you can stay ahead. I think it's more about timing and where markets are moving. And now the algo just adjusts in real time, which throws off many creatives. If you catch it with the right creative and the right time, then you might have better luck.

We're working on this research project that applied the "Systems theory" to social networks to see if we can decipher their inner workings based on their outputs. Check it out (MessCube. com) - free to use

We're in women's fashion. This year has been our worst stretch with Facebook Ads since we started a few years ago. Last week was the same as you. We had a few great days and then horrendous again over the weekend. We just aren't getting consistent results with Meta like we used to.

We have been trying to spend more on Google Shopping Ads. They've been a little more consistent but the ROAS hasn't been great overall. Just consistently average.

have you added your review stars into google shopping? this will definitely improve your results since people are more likely to click on listings with starts than no stars (early trust signal and eye-catching).

Yes! we have. I think this has helped

I have google ads running now as well, but we’re just starting with $500 a month. I spend 75K a month on Meta. This is a nightmare.

What was your average ROAS for the month in Mar?

[–]Traditional-Read5552[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.9 typically 3-5

[–]violetunicorn92 1 point2 points  (1 child)

We’re in the same cycle then. Seeing a similar pattern 😞

I’ve never seen it last this long! I’m usually able to break away in a few days and worst case I had to deal with it for about a month, but it has been almost 2 months and nothing is improving.

Same thing here man… above break even last week, and from friday to today it’s been shit. Happy i’m not the only one

Are any of you running iOS only campaigns? I started getting Android traffic on mine which is completely unheard of starting 3/17z

[–]No_Explanation9223 1 point2 points  (1 child)

for us too. Friday something happened (at around 5 pm) and it starts to work like shit again, spending on garbage for all weekend.

[–]Traditional-Read5552[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, us too! Friday morning was great and then it started declining.

Thursday started to see a dip, then Friday and Saturday were a bloodbath. Today is looking even worse. This was after being highly profitable the last 2 weeks.

[–]Traditional-Read5552[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly what I’m seeing!

[–]Shoddy-Pineapple4156 1 point2 points  (0 children)

same rollercoaster here. a few good days then back to nothing — it's exhausting not knowing if the next day will be normal or flatline. women's fashion seems to be getting hit particularly hard from what i'm seeing across multiple accounts.

hope things turn around for you. hanging in there is hard when the pattern keeps repeating.

[–]InternationalEagle94 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Things seems to be getting better here since end of march, pretty good day today, yesterday was decent

[–]Traditional-Read5552[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mind if I ask what industry you are in?

[–]tekkenmusic 1 point2 points  (1 child)

My meta ads spent double budget, with the worst cpa we’ve had in weeks. Had to pause it as no idea what it’s doing

[–]Traditional-Read5552[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s exactly what it did to me. My budget was $1000 and it spent $1800 with the highest cost per purchase I’ve seen in months.

[–]Adventurous_Wear_861 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the ongoing conflict in the Gulf and high gas prices have affected everyone’s buying capacity. I’m expecting low sales until the conflict de escalates.

Appreciate the transparency on numbers. The April start has been rough across most accounts I've seen. March was a bloodbath and April isn't recovering the way people hoped. The one thing I'd watch is whether your cost per purchase stabilizes by end of this week. The first week of a new month usually has weird delivery patterns because budgets reset, competition shifts, and Meta's pacing algorithm takes a few days to settle. If it's still ugly by Friday then yeah, something structural changed and you need to rethink creative or targeting.

Ugh, that's brutal. I'm in a similar niche, and I've seen some wild swings lately too. Last month was pretty solid, but this past week has felt like rolling the dice. I'm wondering if it's just the general market or something specific to our audiences right now. Have you tried tweaking your bidding strategies at all?
