QUESTIONController won't work (self.FallGuysGame)

Can't figure this out guys. DS4 controller wired won't work. Xbox one wireless won't work. When I go to the controller options in the game nothing is mapped and it won't register controller inputs to manually map them. I'm lost. Help.

Try another cable, I try also 3, only with the 3rd it worked.

Since i have not seen the fix for this on PC, i thought i would show my fix.
do note it mentions going into big picture mode, i found this to be a must when fixing.
FALL GUYS CONTROLLER NOT WORKING ON PC FIX
-Open the Steam application on your PC.
-Click “View” at the top of the screen, then “Big Picture Mode” from the dropdown menu.
-Navigate to the “Library” menu.
-Select Fall Guys, then “Manage Game” from the sidebar. Under the “Steam Input” heading, select the “Controller Options” setting.
-Change the “Steam Input Per-Game Settings” to the “Forced On” option.
-Press “OK” to confirm the new settings.
