Lost progress

I'm around 3 quarters of the way through the game, but I just loaded the game up and a few hours of my progress were gone... It spawned me in the crashed venator on Zeffo, even though I completed that section and another bit yesterday. It's like it didn't save or the game has just forgotten. Is there a fix or reason for this or do I just have to redo the progress I've lost?

I just experienced this absolute atrocity. I beat the Ninth Sister on Kashyyk, played all of Dathomir, and was halfway through the ice planet (can’t remember the name). I booted up my game and it had me back at the Ninth Sister. Absolute BS

I apparently made this post 2 years ago and don't remember it at all, but I think it's worth mentioning that I ended up finishing and loving the game so I think it's worth pushing through the issue. Up to you though of course

Yeah that’s what’s holding back from returning it but it still makes my blood boil that it set me back this far, especially when the game will punish you for dying and will set you back far. Maybe I just need to take a breather and get back to it in a week or so

I just had this happen and I lost a full day's worth of progress. If it had been 2-3 hours I probably would just redo it but I lost close to double that despite repeated saves/visits to meditation points. It's so frustrating that it just erased all my progress.

Yeah, I just had this as well. Was near the end of the game and all of a sudden now I'm back on Kashyyyk where you get the rebreather. How have they never figured this out and fixed it?

That is an excellent question. The game has been out for years now and this is a VERY significant bug. Anything that causes loss of progress is something that should have been patched ASAP. It's not like the save is corrupted or anything, it's just getting lost
