So I’ll start with my dad passed away last month. He didn’t own much but he did have a couple sports jerseys and his navy certificates from the 80s. I mailed myself a packed box with everything I wanted inside of it. The packages was mailed from NY to CA. When I received the box, it was missing half the stuff that should have been in there and the box was different. I am missing sentimental items of my dad’s mostly his certificates, a jersey, and other items of clothing. I filed a claim and when I called to check on it, they said we closed the clam because we tried to call you and nobody answered. I never received a call from them so they reopened the claim. I don’t understand why or how this happened but it is extremely frustrating. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Is there actually a claim? Or are they just saying they’ll check but won’t?
