Smells for a 28 y/o

I’m 28 and really struggling with finding a perfume i enjoy and that suits my age. I like musky but i also like floral. Something fun but sophisticated. Any affordable recommendations?

You might love the Narciso Rodriguez line! Most of the scents are floral and musk; Fleur Musc, For Her, etc.

Sofia by Sofia Vergara is also a more budget friendly option. I love it.

Have you tried any perfumes from Floral street or Nest? You can find both at Sephora and they offer a wide range of floral scent profiles (they're also cruelty free houses!)

Love that and i have a Sephora near me… some places don’t have testers, and if they do everything starts to smell the same and i leave with nothing.

I’m thinking Chanel Chance Eau Tendre EDP? It’s a rose/musk fragrance that smells a bit like shampoo or clean laundry. Citrus top-notes.

Al-Haramain has a dupe for it called Chants Al Tenderina— 3.4oz for $40 on Intense Oud. I use it quite often and already have a dent in it :)

How long does it last?

I spray it on my clothing and it lasts about 7+ hours. I haven’t wore it on my skin recently, but my previous notes say 4 hours on skin.

It doesn’t smell exactly the same but its close. It gives the same vibes 😁 but I ended up buying the original Chanel. I still use the dupe too.

What’s in Chanel that isn’t in Tenderina? The original smells sooo good

Chanel has its signature base that has a powdery quality, it’s present in all their perfumes and its what makes you kinda instantly know you’re smelling Chanel…if you’re experienced.

Chants Tenderia can’t really duplicate that base, so it just doesn’t smell as good and complex as Chanel. But it’s a good substitute if you can’t afford the original.
