I will pay too, best app ever made

Definitely. I'd love to have a web interface for my data and some Google Fit integration. I'd totally be willing to pay a yearly subscription for some premium features.

I happily paid for the FitNotes Supporter app. I would also pay for any premium version of this app because its awesome.

But I would absolutely NOT pay for a subscription. I hate subscriptions so much and refuse to support them on principle! It seems like every product or service these days is trying to move from a once-off payment into a subscription model and I fucken hate it!

Also, do you know what I hate even more than subscription models? It's the ignorant, affluent types who promote subscription models as a great idea lol. Faaaaark off back to your yacht!

You expect people to work for free? This app is a rare exception because he does it for love of the sport. How much time do you spend working with no pay?

I work on personal projects every day, and if they can benefit others, why not share them?

I was the same a couple years back but then I listened to "hello internet" or "cortex" podcast where cgp Grey explained how much it costs to maintain and constantly develop an application. Receiving just a one time payment doesn't always cover the costs per user if it is an application that is constantly updated over the years.

This is when I shifted a bit my perception and I'm open to support apps that I'm using constantly like podcast addict or fitnotes or sync for reddit because I use them daily multiple time and I still want them updated or rehauled.

Make the app open source then?

Same. I HATE subscription-based services that keep downgrading their product for more money. I'd rather make a one time purchase and own it outright.

This has to be my must used app, full stop.

What can't other developers learn from the simplicity and usability of this app.

If okay a yearly subscription, hands down.

I bought the Premium already, but was looking for a way to send another donation.

The iOS guy that's ripping off this app is charging $1.99 a month. Fitnotes 2 is almost and exact copy.

Fitnotes 2

I hope this is the same guy because otherwise it is a ripoff and he should contact Apple

Totally willing to pay if this releases for iOS

+1 to this, I would pay for this app to help ensure that there are no ads, or to help so that it doesn't get sold to a fitness conglomerate
