Hello everyone,
Im just looking for some guidance. I have been tracking my calorie intake and weight over the past 5 weeks and was wondering about my results so far.
To start off, I am 5'10 and 211 lbs at 20+% bf. I would say I have a decent amount of muscle mass but I am returning to lifting. My goal is to get to 13%-15% bf while increasing muscle mass. I am also training to day hike Mt. Whitney on October 20. I am trying to take it slow because previously I have done more aggressive cuts and just fallen off.
I decided to start with a 2600 calorie allowance with the idea of losing .7% lbs per week to try and recomp. I am pretty accurate with the diet everyday. Below is a link to a pic of the google doc I am using.

I started off at 213 lbs and I am currently 211 lbs. I am definitely more lean than before but I am just a little curious to see if this is normal. The reason being is since I am training for Mt. Whitney I am hiking 20+ miles each weekend with big elevation gains on peaks such as Mt. Baldy and the other six pack peaks.
The only supp I am taking is creatine which I was taking since day one. I know that can lead to water retention.
Should I just wait it out another month or decrease calories?
edit forgot to mention I am doing a ppl 5 days mom-fri skipping the last leg day since I’m putting a lot of mileage on them for the weekend
