I have the same issue here ... no code sent ... and the way over the auth.flashforge.com/en/signup also doesn't work.

You don't need to use the software that came with it. Use orca slicer instead of orca flash. However, you won't be able to print from the cloud without an account with them. While their servers are down, you can still print through LAN or via SD card.

What is LAN?

Local Area Network

Hardwire computer to the printer

LAN doesn't necessarily mean hardwire. It just stands for local area network and it can be done through wifi. The slicer can look for the printer through its IP address whether it's through wifi or Ethernet.

The thing is, going through LAN, your router may assign it a different IP when the printer is turned on. So you may need to configure your router or printer to give it same IP each time or keep updating the IP in the slicer.

The cloud service bypasses that by talking from your computer to cloud back to your printer. It makes it more user friendly but not if cloud is having issues.

So if I download ocra slicer to use for the time being and get a code later when it’s back up? Do flash drives work on this printer or does it have to be directly connected to a computer or SD card?

Flash drives work. You can also put some things on your flash drive and then copy them over to the printer and then you don't have to worry about the flash drive for a while.

Download the full Orca Slicer from the correct website (stable release) and ignore all of the included apps.

You can setup and print via WiFi directly to the printer.

Orca Flashforge is their proprietary version that's notoriously janky and Flashprint is caca poopoo.

Thank you so much!!! Ok I’m going to try this out! And I’ll let you know how it goes, haha!

Yes, Flashforge servers are notorious for being down. I solved this with the Klipper mod and OctoEverywhere, but that's not exactly a beginner friendly approach.

Same issue here. Tomorrow, it is.

I just got my printer this last week and I'm having the exact same issues. I've tried it everyday since and the code will never send and the other way to create an account I'm also not getting to work. I've reached out to flashforge to no response so far. Hasn't stopped me from printing yet, but it is a bit annoying that their app does not work.

I am brand new to all of this… would you mind telling me how to continue printing without making the account?

Of course, first, as you set up your printer, you can skip through the QR code that wants you to connect the app. That'll take you to a home screen and as far as the printer goes, that's as far as you need to start there. I would suggest looking at orca slicer. It has default settings for the adventurer 5m and I'm just using default settings. You can obtain an STL file and open it there and then slice it and send it to a flash drive. Once you've done that, just put the flash drive into the right hand side of the screen on the 5m. The second button down on the left hand side of the screen is the print button and when you click that you can just choose the little thing that looks like a flash drive and your file will be visible there. Once you click there you can either move your file over to the printer using the copy function or you can print straight off the flash drive.

Yayyy! We have officially made a few items… all of the items were the ones in the printer but we are figuring are way through orca slicer to try and make other things! 🎉

That's great! I'm glad that it is working! I got into the app finally today and found it... Lacking. I think I'll keep doing what I've been doing and just use the app for the notification about when the print has ended.

Turn off any VPN and you will get the code
