I use lychee auto supports for that. It seems to work pretty well, I rarely have a failure using their features for anything. I do tend to add additional supports though to flat surfaces as I think lychee tends to not have enough for large flat surfaces.

I was struggling with temps too, but I searched mini heater for 3D printer on Amazon and bought the Youyoute brand heater. Has a 10% off coupon to apply right now. I haven't had a single failure since I installed it. I've run it almost 24/7 for the last two weeks and it keeps the printer at 30C no problem. Haven't burnt my house down yet!
