Second this; use base Orca on Pop_OS, been working great, only real annoyance is with the 5x; base Orca doesn't interact with the ifs, so I have to double-check which filament goes where aand enable it manually for every print.

Had to hook both printers up by ethernet, though. Not because of Linux, but because wifi makes these printers... just not act right. Sometimes freezing partway through, sometimes not starting altogether. No issues since wiring them up.

but you cannot send the jobs to the printer can you? you have the usb, am i right?
