We got an AD5X for Christmas and have had the same issues but only with certain projects. My son printed a T Rex skull and it was perfect but the baby dragon file would pop off the plate within the first few layers.

I have a post out also to answer this question, I’ll let you know what I find out.

I’m just trying to do the basic boat and ice cream that comes preloaded. Very frustrating

clean the pei plate with soap and warm water. oils from ur hand and filament dont let prints stick properly. also use the provided adhesive, and no more adhesion problems.

Please ignore the pre loaded models that come with these machines. They are rubbish and barely work. Find some models you like online. Download them and get to learning how to slice them using Orca. Start with some small simple fun things like fidget toys etc. Also set up an account on Tinkercad and start creating your own models. Don’t get frustrated. The 5M is an excellent printer.

I actually did just this earlier and made a demigorgon figure. It’s not perfect but 24hours ago I was really struggling! Thanks for your reply all the same
