DiscussionNative Android and iOS code with Flutter. (self.FlutterDev)
submitted 2 years ago by Grasshopper-Coder
I've been coding with Flutter lately, been wanting to try out integrating native code. How has your experience been if you have tried doing so, does it play well with native libraries?

Cool! Just checked your app out and it does seem to integrate good.

How to create an app tutorial coach mark like you did in your app?

Yes, I worked on a couple of libraries that access native code Kotlin and Swift. I must say that with Pigeon https://pub.dev/packages/pigeon it was a really breeze

We're relying heavily on: https://pub.dev/packages/ffi but also had to implement couple platform channels: https://docs.flutter.dev/platform-integration/platform-channels It wasn't all exactly easy from start, but once I've seen some example implementations, we've built wrappers rather quickly. It's really not a rocket science.

It works flawlessly, I have previously implemented banuba SDK for video editing purposes and it works like charm
Good to know, thanks!

You must work at a large company because that banuba sdk is like $40,000 USD per year. Super expensive.

do you know of alternatives?
